Prince of Songkla University
Prince of Songkla University (PSU), established in 1967, is the first and major university in the South of Thailand. His Majesty the King graciously granted the University the name “Prince of Songkla University” in honor of his beloved father, His Royal Highness Somdej Chao Fa Mahidol Adulyadej Kromma Luang Songkla Nakarin. PSU is a leading research university in Asia, ranked 5th for IT & Engineering in Thailand.
Department of Computer Engineering
Department of Computer Engineering offers B.Eng., M.Eng., and Ph.D. programs in Computer Engineering in PSU’s two campuses, Hat Yai and Phuket. Many of our research and development works are related with the domains of Intelligent Signal Processing and Communication Systems of ISPACS. The department has two excellence centers, namely Center of Excellences in Next Generation Internet (NGI) and Center of Excellences in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), both funded by the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center. There also are several research teams in our department such as Intelligent Systems Research Group (iSys), Braille Computer System and Assistive Technology Group, Advanced Information Engineering Group, and Information engineering for Andaman Region (InFAR).
Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI) Association was officially registered on 27 July 2002 as an academic association in Thailand. Its main objective is to promote academic activities for advancement in related fields.
